Organization

Goal

To build an exciting research program in Nuclear Astrophysics at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams [FRIB], a next-generation radioactive beam facility under development at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, USA.

This collaboration is intended to serve as an umbrella collaboration for various equipment and theory projects in nuclear astrophysics at FRIB.

Specific near term goals are to:
- Stimulate and help coordinate the formation of new collaborations and the expansion of existing ones
- Articulate the special needs and priorities of an FRIB nuclear astrophysics program
